Our Saddle Brook Jr. Track and Field program offers a range of benefits, including improved physical fitness, coordination, independence, teamwork, confidence, and leadership skills. Join today and watch your child develop amazing skills they'll use in other sports and in their daily life.
At Saddle Brook Jr. Track and Field, our mission is to cultivate track, running, jumping, and throwing skills within a competitive framework, fostering team spirit and respect for others, both on and off the track. We compete as part of the New Jersey Striders Track & Field Club (NJS), comprising 16 recreation junior track and field teams. Our meets, held in April, May, and June, are developmental, focusing on skill growth and team collaboration.
The primary goal of our program is to make track & field a source of enjoyment for both athletes and their parents. We aim to instill an appreciation for personal effort and individual success in our athletes.
As a secondary objective, we focus on teaching the fundamentals of the sport, developing specific skills, and providing opportunities for athletes to compete in areas of interest.
Additionally, we encourage the adoption of a fitness regimen, fostering a lifelong engagement with a sport that offers countless health benefits.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of recreation junior track and field programs. Find out more about making both a positive impact in our community and being more of a superhero for your kid.
If you have questions about our junior sports program, feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
